Angela Ratkowski, MSW (she/her/hers)

Angela Ratkowski began her nonprofit career as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa. She has worked in education, international development, public health, child welfare, and anti-trafficking services. She has also been privileged to work in refugee resettlement both in the United States and the United Kingdom. Angela has more than 15 years of experience with federal grants including managing federally funded programs and reviewing proposals. She has administered programs funded by the Centers for Disease Control, Health and Human Services, Department of Justice, U.S. Agency for International Development, National Institutes of Health, and the Department of State. Angela holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland with a concentration in social action and community development. She enjoys helping organizations develop the systems they need to support their missions. Her work in program management has included developing policies and procedures, providing technical assistance and training, program reporting, monitoring subrecipients, and developing corrective action plans.

Angela currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska with her husband and two children. She loves traveling, gardening, and photography.
