GPA Annual Conference- The 4M Model for Determining When Grants Should/n’t Be Used to Fund Your Program

Description:
Using the 4M Model (Mission, Motive, Means, Mechanism) we will look at when grants should and should not be used to fund your program, and when alternative funding options might be better suited.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will learn The 4M Model including definitions of each of the four components.
2. Participants will understand the context for use of The 4M Model through relevant examples.
3. Participants will engage with each other and with instructors on anticipated implementation challenges in their own organizations.
4. Participants will be able to employ The 4M Model for decision-making in their own programs.
